Faith Companion utilizes advanced natural language processing and large language models (LLMs) to generate prayers, Bible study commentary, devotional materials, and conversational spiritual encouragement.

All AI-generated content is provided for informational and spiritual encouragement purposes only. While our models are aligned with historic Christian creeds and scriptures, the outputs are dynamically generated and may contain inaccuracies, historical simplifications, or theological interpretations that do not perfectly align with your local church's specific teachings.

2. No Religious Authority or Sacramental Substitute

Faith Companion is an interactive software application. It is not a church, an ordained pastor, or a member of the clergy.

The application does NOT have the authority to administer holy sacraments, hear confession, grant absolution, conduct valid baptisms, perform marriages, or make authoritative spiritual rulings on behalf of any denomination. It is designed to assist your study and prayer, not to replace local church community or pastoral oversight.

3. Theological Alignment & Customizations

While the app supports a "Denomination-Aware Experience" allowing you to toggle preferences (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, etc.), these settings act as filters guiding the tone, vocabulary, and preferred Bible translation version of the AI. The AI's outputs are not official canonical guides and should always be compared and validated against local parish teaching, church councils, and standard scriptures.
